Econflo Systems was founded as a traditional family business with big ideas. Way before caring for the environment and sustainability became trendy, our founder’s fundamental driver was the recognition that water-scarce Singapore was literally flushing its precious resource down the toilet.

Driven by their professional experience in construction and engineering, Econflo Systems thought big and was the first to test and get approval for the technologically-advanced water-saving WC from Gustavsberg Sweden for use in Singapore. This reduced water used per flush from up to 11 litres back then to as low as 3 litres, with further improvement to 2.5 litres today.

With the widespread adoption of this technology, Econflo Systems had a hand in setting Singapore on the path to saving an immeasurable amount of water from this initial implementation. A rough estimate suggests that Singapore saves about 144 million litres of water a day with water-saving WCs of at least 2 WELS ticks compared to traditional WCs.
